REALTOR® of the Year

Mainstreet's REALTOR® of the Year award recognizes the best of the best of the REALTOR® family here at Mainstreet. Award recipients exemplify what it means to be a REALTOR® in six different key areas including association involvement, community service, education, and more. Any Mainstreet REALTOR® can nominate a fellow Mainstreet REALTOR® for the Award.

The nomination period opens in February and ends in March each year.

The Nominee Profile Sheet collects information on the nominee in the following areas:

  1. Local Association Activity: Local Association committee work, task forces, focus groups, etc.
  2. State Association Activity: Offices and Chairmanships, committee work, task forces, and attendance at Illinois REALTORS® meetings and Capitol Conference.
  3. National Association Activity: National office and committee work, involvement with Institutes, Societies, and Councils; and attendance at National Conventions.
  4. Community Service: Participation in civic service organizations, charitable activities, political pursuits, fraternal and religious groups, and other involvement such as Chamber of Commerce, merchant associations, Better Business Bureau, or Junior League.
  5. Business Accomplishments: Special recognitions, awards or projects with firm, industry-related affiliations, directorships, or trusteeships.
  6. Designations or Certifications: Designations or Certifications being held such as GRI, CRS, CRB, CCIM, or ABR.
